Startup Odisha is a flagship initiative of the Government of Odisha with an objective to build a world-class “Startup Hub”. The Government has been working on creating an enabling environment to encourage Startups, Incubators, and other ecosystem players in the State, resulting in large employment opportunities. We wish to unleash the potential of women entrepreneurship by encouraging at least 33 percent of Startups with women as Founders or Co-Founders.
‘Odisha Startup Yatra 2023’, a core student driven campaign, has reached over 26,000 students in all the 30 districts of Odisha. The enthusiasm among the aspiring student entrepreneurs and grassroots innovators is a thing to celebrate. This journey of engaging the youth in ideation & entrepreneurship started in the year 2018 has covered all the 30 districts of Odisha.
In Odisha Startup Yatra 2023, we have covered more than 260 premier institutions and reached more than 26,000 students while collecting over 2600 ideas. The zeal to innovate something new demonstrates how entrepreneurship is bringing a new revolution across the State.
