Startup Yatra
The Startup Yatra – 2023 aims to build on the success and outcomes of the previous editions. To ensure maximum coverage and efficiency, Startup Odisha will have 4 dedicated vans with each van covering two clusters. Some of the major events proposed for this edition of the Odisha Yatra are:
- Van Camps: will cover more than 200 educational institutions across 30 districts of Odisha. These campaigns will engage with diverse set of students and collect innovative ideas.
- Boot Camp: over 60 bootcamps will be conducted in 30 districts. There will be training and guidance on entrepreneurship, ideation, business model and pitching skills. Industry experts and mentors will be involved to inspire and educate participants.
- Acceleration: 50 Shortlisted participants will be invited for a 3-day Acceleration programme. The programme will include Mentorship, guidance and resources to develop their ideas. Top 20 Ideas will be invited to O-Hub for demo day.
- Demo Day: Shortlisted Participants will present their business ideas to a panel of judges. Evaluation criteria will be innovation, market potential and feasibility. Top 10 winners will receive seed funding worth INR 3 Lakhs each to shape their ideas into viable businesses.
